The estimated population of the borough at 30th June 2022 was 220,271. Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough is the second largest council in Northern Ireland in terms of population.

District Electoral Areas
The borough is made up of seven District Electoral Areas (DEAs) the largest of which in terms of population is Lurgan, which is also the second highest populated DEA in Northern Ireland.
