44.5% of respondents to the Northern Ireland Life and Times Survey in the borough for the combined years 2020, 2021 and 2022, believe that relations between Protestants and Catholics are better now than they were five years ago.

Crime
In Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon borough, police recorded crimes decreased by 1% between 2022/23 and 2023/24 while in Northern Ireland overall, they decreased by almost 6.3%.
Rural Statistics
Results from the 2011 Census show that just over half the borough’s population (51%) lived in urban areas while just under half (49%) lived in rural areas.
